DAY 01
Negombo – Anuradapura
At 6.a.m we are riding to Anuradhapura. Anuradhapura was establishedv in the 4th century BC and was the first capital of Sri Lanka. During 3th century BC, Buddhism reached in this city. And from there Buddhism speeded to Burma, Thailand, Cambodia, and all over the world.
DAY 02
Anuradapura – Willpattu – Habarana
Early morning we are riding Wilpattu National Park. In jungle we can take breakfast. Wilpattu National Park is located in northwest coast dry zone. There is home to leopards, elephants, wild boars, spotted deer, slothbear
DAY 03
Sigiriya – Dambulla
After breakfast we riding to Sigiriya. Sigiriya lion rock is an ancient fortress and palace ruin. The Sigiriya was built during the reign of King Kashyapa I (AD 477 – 495). We climb 950 steps and can see famous ancient printing sigiriya lady. It is registered as a world heritage. After if you like, we can ride a elephant in the jungle. We proceed to Dambulla.
DAY 04
Pinnawala – Kandy
After breakfast we are riding to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage ,nearby Kegalle, was created to protect abandoned or orphaned elephants. We can see elephants roaming freely around the sanctuary area. 10. a.m-12p.m/2.p.m-4.p.m bathing time 9:15.a.m/1:15p.m/5.p.m feeding time
DAY 06
Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, we riding for Nuwara eliya. Nuwara eliya is a main producer of Ceylon tea. We can get a sensational view of tea plantation and waterfalls. During British colonial period, Nuwara eliya flourished as a summer retreat.
DAY 05
Mahiyanganaya
After breakfast we riding to Mahiyangana. Mahiyangana is a small town located 72 kilometers east of Kandy. It is Sri Lanka’s first city visited by Buddha to stop the war between the race of Yakshas (demons) and the race of Nagas (serpents).In this town native tribes called Veddhas live in.
DAY 07
Horton Place – Ella
After breakfast we riding Horton Plains National Park. There is a plateau spread of meadow and 2000 meters above sea level. There are many specific plant is rare in the world. Carnivore is not living. We proceed to World’s End is an abrupt cliff. Its view is very beautiful.
DAY 08
Kataragama – Tissamaharamaya
After breakfast we riding Kataragama. Katargama is a Zonal Town in Surat city and host of the world famous Surat Diamond Industry, the area is also known as dense Concrete Jungle, It was a Nagar Panchayat in 1970s but was amalgamated in Surat Municipal Corporation.
DAY 09
Galle – Unawatuna
After breakfast we riding Galle where is the largest city in Southern Sri Lanka. In 14th century Galle prospered as key port of trade between Arabic trader. In 16th century a fortress was built by Portuguese. After that Dutch controlled and expanded the fortress.
DAY 10
Rathnapura
After breakfast we riding Ratnapura. It is the city of Gemstones. Ratna means gem in shinhala. From old times Sri Lanka is very famous for gems in the world. Ratnapura has a varieties collection of gems
DAY 11
Adam’s Peak
Early morning we riding to Sri pda (Adam’s Peak) with packet breakfast, where is a special holy mountain for Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims and Christians. It is located in the southwest of Nuwara Eliya and 2238m above sea level. Season is from November to May.
DAY 12
Kithulgala
After breakfast we riding to Kitulgala. Kitulgala is located on southwest of Kandy. It is very much famous for white water Rafting in the Kaleni river. We can choose from among courses from beginner to advanced. We stay at a hotel overnight in Kitulgala.
The last day after breakfast riding to Negombo or your next destination. For more details please contact us
